You may be surprised that as you progress, your grip will until you get very heavy. Each week I make improvements using the same grip - I always worry about whether it'll hold out. My forarms get really red when deadlifting, and I get doms there next day too - not sure if that makes sense, or is common...

I'm up for any changes you wanna make so far this program has felt really good and I like the way my body seems to respond to it. Yes I still got a stomach but my shoulders is filling up and my arms and legs are getting more defined and one ex work colleague said you have lost weight so that felt nice :)

6 weeks is the max on one routine so your fine for another 2 due to the week off.

Which is responding quicker your arms or back and chest?

Yeah I guess you are right Upright, I got small hands and stubby fingers so I guess that makes it a bit harder as I can't really wrap the fingers round the bar. I will try the mixed grip suggested by Craig next workout and I think that will allow me to put on a bit more on the bar.

I think my back strength has been going up nicely with all the DL & Squats, I never used to do much of that when I trained 15 years ago which is shame as it really helps strengthening the whole core. So would say back in a long winded way :)

Most people are either arms or torso dominant, watch over the coming weeks and see which you are, the sooner you spot it the sooner you can stop any imbalances forming.

OK will do, I guess my legs has always been much bigger stronger than my upper body. My legs are quite large and have a fair bit more of muscle compared to the arms.

Everyone has a body part that responds strongly.
