Yeah I guess you are right Upright, I got small hands and stubby fingers so I guess that makes it a bit harder as I can't really wrap the fingers round the bar. I will try the mixed grip suggested by Craig next workout and I think that will allow me to put on a bit more on the bar.

Which is responding quicker your arms or back and chest?
I think my back strength has been going up nicely with all the DL & Squats, I never used to do much of that when I trained 15 years ago which is shame as it really helps strengthening the whole core. So would say back in a long winded way
