Introduction (2yrs late)

Postby Clyde on Tue Jan 19, 2010 2:36 pm

Hello Everybody

I joined Feb 2008 after being invited by my old friend Rab. It wasn't really a good time training wise, my life consisted of clubbing and getting wasted at weekends with a half arsed attempt at training through the week and a poor diet. Lost interest for a bit and subsequently never made a single post (actually thought I had been punted off the forum until I tried to rejoin :) )............Sorry about that

It's all good now training wise, been training consistantly for a wee while so thought it's a good time to join in and learn.

I've recently started boxing training in December, train every Tuesday & Thursday. Also registered for the Edinburgh marathon at the end of May an dhave just started using a training program from my mates running book. As for weight training, I've been following a body part split the same as Rab's. Not really sure whether to stick with this as I'll be training no more than 3 days per week now (Mon, Wed, Fri/Sat) and probably laying off legs till after the mararthon. Any suggestion's for a split to use while training for the mararthon would be much appreciated.

Cheers, looking forward to getting to know you's and giving Rab some stick! :D

Squats and marathon go hand in hand.

Simon - No mate, he's recently said he likes it rough so started going to hone my donkey punch :D

Kp1512 - He's not really a face slapper, more of a gym terrets guy. Does alot of shouting.

Rilla - I'll keep the leg work in there then mate and see how it goes. I can hardly walk after legs for days never mind run. Looks like I need to man up!

Aye a will do at some point mate, he's got a good face when going for his big set aswell. The only way I can describe it is when Arnie gets chucked out onto Mars with no space suit in Total Recall, just before his eyes pop out the sockets and his head explodes

I can't talk, he's about a stone heavier than me and could probably press me above his head!

None of you have asked the most important question. Which one of them looks better in a kilt?

Ahhh that's so cute.

With kilts it's all about who has the best calves. ;)

Hmm tough one. My calfs are coming on now to 17 inch but the sit high with my lack of good genetics and shitty tie-ins.

We will settle this at the wedding and post up the pics 8-)
