I joined Feb 2008 after being invited by my old friend Rab. It wasn't really a good time training wise, my life consisted of clubbing and getting wasted at weekends with a half arsed attempt at training through the week and a poor diet. Lost interest for a bit and subsequently never made a single post (actually thought I had been punted off the forum until I tried to rejoin
It's all good now training wise, been training consistantly for a wee while so thought it's a good time to join in and learn.
I've recently started boxing training in December, train every Tuesday & Thursday. Also registered for the Edinburgh marathon at the end of May an dhave just started using a training program from my mates running book. As for weight training, I've been following a body part split the same as Rab's. Not really sure whether to stick with this as I'll be training no more than 3 days per week now (Mon, Wed, Fri/Sat) and probably laying off legs till after the mararthon. Any suggestion's for a split to use while training for the mararthon would be much appreciated.
