Thoughts? Intuitively it seems to make a lot of sense, although tension in the biceps is probably not that great in the fully contracted position.

Weight would be very low.

It's almost like performing 1 rep supersets of a static hold and then the curl.

I can imagine forearms make take one hell of a beating as well on the holding portion.

I've been having an arms day recently at the end of the week. What I found murdered my arms more than anything ever though, is this week, I feel behind a day and knew I'd have to bin arms day. So on back day, I just did a drop set of BB curls with no rest other than to change the weight. I dropped the weight right through down to just 5KG probably about 6 different sets. My forearms still are sore, that was last wednesday.... clenching my fists was so sore for like 2 days. Same day, I PBd most back exercises and grip ran out on Deads which sucks as I have no straps and am skint.

I like the idea of the start at the top and not the bottom - could be really good for preachers as I'm finding my elbows getting hyper extended at the bottom while I curl the other arm.
