Long - but a very good debate in coherent terms. Good arguments for both and a really good overall debate....dont think Ive seen/heard anything like this before.

Havn't listened to it all, but the guy at 30 mins in was really good. Really well constructed argument compared to a few others that seemed to ramble on and repeat themselves.

I really enjoyed it. Particularly interesting to note that by the end those who had changed their opinions towards steroids not being the ultimate evil had increased quite a lot!

its always a tough one though - as the principle of Steroids in sport is bad and will always be. Yet we prescribe the Pill to women, TRT to men, and consume foods that play havoc to the hormonal axis over the medium and long term.

Funny old game.

Listened to all of it now. I think i would have been in the 4% wondering into the night shaking their head lol. I agree with a lot of what was said on both sides. The rules are black and white, but the issue certainly isn't.

Id agree - the issue you have though it that if you ack it and make it "legal" it would get out of control. Especially in the UK - I mean you just gota look at the drink problem in the UK - Brits just dont do moderation..its all or nothing. :D

I am also led to beleive that there is meant to be some new legislation being pushed through on raising the class for Steroids before the 2012 Olympics - but that was a whisper mid last year - but it wouldnt surprise me.

I'm not sure as most people are scared of injecting themselves, although they may use orals. I think by it being so illegal it makes it more dangerous as you deal with UGL's alot, have to spot fakes and sometimes pay over the odds. You've also got a ton of people not following propper hygiene protocols too which itself leads to problems. If it was legal you'd not have to worry about anything being contaminated and you could ask a doctor for help, advice and maybe direction.

Would more people use? possibly so but I'd rather see millions in the gym getting jacked than on the high st everyday weekend getting sloshed :)

Why are Chavs like slinkies? They have no real use but it's great to watch one fall down a flight of stairs.

Dick Pound is or was head of WADA. Considering that his arguement against was pretty damn weak.

I'm only half way through, but they've just had an argument about what would happen if hypothetically drugs were allowed in sports. Not once did anyone mention what actually does happen in such sports (powerlifting, bodybuilding, MMA and strongman). I don't think these guys are aware that there are untested feds in some sports so they all need to do more research.
