Woah woah woah, steady up guys.

I tihnk it's been a fair amount of cross confusion i the way things have been said on both parts... sarcasm and humour doesn't always come across that well on the internet, we all know this.

Mike's doing well on his diet at the moment, he openly admitts that it's not the healthiest, nor does he deny that it could be better, he's got his goals and a time limit to reach them, so why should he change everything to suit others oppinions? I think he should listen and possibly add in a few more tips that others have given, like what with everyone who is trying out the alkaline thing right now saying it's pretty effective, maybe adding in some of that Mike?

Trial and error and all that?!?

People are merely sharing views and trying to help you. It's fine to disregard what people say, but you apparently respond rather negatively to this. Don't worry i won't bother in the future, I wouldn't want to offend mr mike the defensive.

lol I'm all for being helped. I've already said numerous times that I know my diet etc isnt 100% spot on & it could be healthier. All I've said all along is that what I'm doing is working. Oh and then theres you and your silly remarks about AAS. So please dont bother trying to come back and say that I'm at fault because I'm too defensive. Of course when I post my diet up and people tell me that it wont work, or that its all drugs, or that I dont belong on a stage etc I am going to defend myself. I dont think I've reacted badly at all.

And to think all this stemed from me saying the GI response of a single meal isnt really all that important. lols.

With regards yourself, you've contributed nothing to this thread. Not to be nasty. Anyway lets all move on...

Again yeah your right. There are things I could change etc but I'll get to that further down the road. Once I stop responding to what I'm currently doing, hopefully the little changes will then result in big improvements.

On the alkalinity thing. As sceptical as I am I do have plans to try it out. I have a few ideas (like the use of wheatgrass) of how to acheive alkalinity with which I'll make a thread about when I have time...probably more towards the summer as I have alot of study stuff to keep up with between now and May. Also I'd like to do some research on certains things to make sure the science is sound...

I know I need to eat more veg...and drink less fizzy drinks.

I have decided to change out some of the bread at breakfast and alternate between bread and fat free yogurt - yogrut has to be more beneficial and they calorically speaking virtually the same.

Apart from that no major changes as yet as like I say, when I change things later on hopefully that'll mean bigger changes. Get the most for the least effort I always say :D
