theres a MOD out for this board which allows shout boxes which we can also censor for swearing and all if need be..but instant messaging would need another integration pack....

The simple method is to create a chatroom.
'Behave like you are the best...and you'll have the best chance of being the best you can be.'

'Be effective: do what works...and keep doing it.'

'Bask in the turbulence of my magnificence.'

An IRC room would be best, integrated with a web-chat as i'm sure not many have used or use IRC.

Not a bad idea though :)

I'm not sure about the security of IRC. Can be a bit dodgy.
How about a teamspeak server? If everyone has a mic its very easy to set up- it's like a big chatroom where you can both type and speak.

if irc is setup correctly it's fine.

I wouldn't go with the voice types as can you imagine how confusing...
'Behave like you are the best...and you'll have the best chance of being the best you can be.'

'Be effective: do what works...and keep doing it.'

'Bask in the turbulence of my magnificence.'

Just typing would be best, I can watch TV and do this and I couldn't do that if I was speaking as well. I sound like a slob don't I
