In the absence of the music thread, here's the music

Postby Spit on Wed Jul 16, 2008 10:10 am

I kept meaning to ask about the disappearence of my old thread, there were a few recommendations on there I hadn't got around to looking up... anyway, because I know you're all dying for some drum'n'bass here's a mix I re-uploaded the other day:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2YU8B8PZ

Spit- Golden Rollers Mix

1. Blame- Music Takes You (John B remix)
>>> Tech Itch & Kemal- The Calling
>>> Break- Submerged
2. Break & Hydro- Dream Sequence
3. C4C- Soul (Matrix & Fiercce remix)
4. Universal Project & Friction- Streetlife
5. Fierce & Break- Close to Zero
6. Rascal & Klone- Get Wild
7. Chris.SU & SKC- Desert Seige
>>> Tech Itch & MC Jakes- Soldiers VIP
8. Silent Witness- The Sands
>>> Bulletproof- Espionage
9. Sinthetix- Dementia
10. Moving Fusion- Black Hole
11. Gridlok- Heatwave
12. Corrupt Souls & Vicious Circle- Shadrock
13. Quadrant- Closure
14. Raiden- Fatal Statistic
15. Raiden- Mind Bombing
16. Gridlok- Vampire (remix)
>>> Silent Witness & Break- Rain Man

It's all rolling stuff without too many breakdowns, so good for the gym I reckon. Let me know what you think!

Click on this link ^^^^^

On the page that pops up, there's a little box asking you to enter a few letters (spambot protection I guess). You think have to wait about 45 secs for the download to be ready, then just click on 'free download' and Robert's your father's brother.

You need to turn the handle to get it started Si

But do not worry Si, its not really (IMO) gym training music. Not for weights at least. May be some lycra tights and then on the CV machines but not for weights I'm afraid.

Fear not then, I'm just putting the finishing touches to a horrorcore hiphop mix, 'nancy' is definitely not a word that applies to this one!

Good tracks on my training playlist at the moment:

Nosebleed - Deftones
Hearts on fire - Cut Copy
Milkshake - Holy Fuck
The Beginning and the End - Isis
Lauren from Glebe - Muscles
If it aint Ruff - NWA
The Hollow - A Perfect Circle
Firestarter - The Prodigy (the album version)
Phantom Pt II - Justice
Stevie Nix - The Hold Steady
We Interupt This Program - Coburn (Stanton Warriors remix)

Random mix but I like it :)

Nice mate.

Try Judith and 3 Libres from A Perfect Circle and Jambi and Vivacious from Tool.
