Im joining the mobile age!

Postby Marks1972 on Tue Aug 26, 2008 1:59 pm

As much as i hate them, ive finally ordered myself a mobile phone, getting too many times when i really need to call someone when out and about.

Got a Sony C902 on vodaphone for £20 a month (had to pay £35 for the phone itself) and i get 50 anytime minutes and 150 free texts for that.

Is that good or is that expensive these days?

I've just gone back to Vodafone. £20 a month for 600 mins anytime any network, and unlimited texts on a SIM only deal.

Mate you can get 400 mins and 400 text on O2 simplicity for £20 a month and that's no contract. You need your own phone though but my sister has that new Sony C902 and I think it's awful, very buggy (she's on her 3rd in about 2 months) and it's just made for a womans hands, the buttons are tiny.

I still love my Sony K800i, best phone they ever made and can be picked up for about £50 these days :) Mine's 2 years old now and still going strong.

You've got a cooling off period mate! Cant remember how long it is. Just phone and say that you've changed your mind.

6 months ago with vodafone, they gave me a N95 8GB free with completely free internet, 200 mins, 200 texts, Bluetooth headset(value £80) free mobile tv £25/month

They love me  Been with them 3yrs. Wouldn't be on any other network. I love those new iPhones with 3g(wow) which they don't get in half the country While I enjoy 3.5g everywhere- I'd get reception on saturn with Voda.
I love how the missus is on T-mobile and teh boy on Orange and when we arrived at Mallorca they wer on Vodafone too

tbh ill play with it for 10 mins, then use it twice a week to call my training partner to tell him im starting without him if he doesnt hurry up.. so 10 free mins or 10, 000 free mins doesnt make much difference to me.. i mainly wanted a half decent camera in the phone for happy snaps when on my travels.

Not sure if I read what you put right but Vodafone get the new iPhone soon, it was an O2 exclusive at first but then all networks get them.

Unless its already out for vodafone, if it is then I shall have to go upgrade!
