Supersets will be 3 weeks on, one off (might try a temper split on the week off). Cutting - Not really got stuck into to it yet. I've a couple of weekends which will disrupt it anyway so I probably wont cut in hard until those are out of the way.

The reason for the week off is due to working afternoon / evenings. Thus training in the morning. After a mega session I can be tired at work. I reckon 5 small sessions will be better in that respect.

Had a gammy left front delt today. Very strange as the left side is generally my best.

Power just was not there on arms today. Might be a hangover from training 3 consecutive days which I've not done for about 7 years :o

Last week was a deload week. Reduced the volume and settled for sensible weights. Enough stimulation to keep me sweet but easy peasy all the same.

It was needed in hindsight so I'm glad I've done it now! <BOOM>

I don't mind it. Sometimes I just don't get my Pre nutrition right leaving me slightly below par. Worked fine yesterday. Hopefully it will be the same today as I'm doing the same again.

Gay is good. Bench press is for power shirt lifting. (Bench press does feck all for my pecs.)

The 3 exercises used I do feel in the pecs so hence they are the chosen ones.

I've changed from chest / back on the same day as the back was dominating.

My new split is

Chest / biceps / abs

Upper back / lower back / triceps

legs / Shoulders

Liking your new split although the only change I could possibly see is moving Lower Back in with Legs?

I think you're right with DB's hitting Chest better with flat providing you can get the enough weight from them. For Inclines I find Bar works way better for me for some reason.

I've ben swithering on that one. I settled for doing it on back day to try to keep the number of exercises the same on each day. I've got 8 in mind for legs and shoulders already. Lower back would mean 9. I also have a feeling that getting a good hammie stetch a couple of days before legs might actually be beneficial.

Of course I'm thinking of doing traps with shoulders. Might be better to do them today and do lower back with legs?

Heh, Traps are a personal thing. I always do them with Back to be honest and do Shoulders on their own and do a bit more oon Rear Delts.

Came to a similar conclusion. Did jump shrugs today to calves were hit too. effectively a Back / Tri / calf day. Seemed to work just fine. Thinking about it more I would have overloaded legs / shoulders with too many power exercises. By doing traps today a better balance will be achieved. :)
