SO how did yours go?

I found this Xmas to be the most "un xmas" feeling around since i can remember!

Aside from that - was more for the kids etc - but overall a quiet one!

definitely the least christmassy xmas i've ever had! Watching the nephews unwrapping their presents is always good fun, in a manic kind of way...

I received just one present so not really like Xmas :cry:

But in the true spirit of all on ESN I adopted the true meaning of this season. It's for giving not for taking. The one present matters not I just gave the missus a big load :mrgreen:

We had fun, we went to a restaurant Chrimbo day, then to friends and on Boxing we had our annual visit to Chessington Zoo which is always good fun. My parents are over today for a 2nd xXmas, then I'm working half days Wed-Friday. I'll also be training with Alex which should be a giggle.

and with a blink it is all over for another year....
all about shortie these days.......now 3 and very cognisant and just draw upon her energy and zest.
good few days off with the family now, so no doubt i will find myself playing with disney princesses :-)

Have been largely unsociable, and have eaten and slept a lot - a perfect xmas. Trying to extend the gluttony and sloth through ito the new year... all going well so far

All change for me- I moved to Brighton two days ago (starting a new job in Crawley, but I don't want to live there because it's a shithole). Have already signed up with an incredible gym:

That gym looks awesome! I was like, yeeeh looks decent like, then the pic with the elieko weights and platform came up...lucky bastard.

agree - saw the pic with a battle rope and pulling the prowler - tough shit to do! but awesome movement!

It's ace, I've just come back from training there- it's pretty much how I'd design a gym if given a blank slate to work from. Oly platforms, three power racks, two GHRs, med balls to chuck at the wall, the Prowler... it's basically Cressey Performance, but 5 minutes from my front door. Some smoking hot girls in there too (sorry to disappoint you, Jules).

The guy who set it up is a MMA fighter and they're very focused on that side of things; I know very little about it, but might sign up for a (non-contact) class or two if my work schedule permits, it looks like a very good way to increase your work capacity and get stronger at the same time.

cant agree with you more Spit - its pretty much changed my opinion on training in some respects and has made it way more efficient for me. wish I kinda did it years ago tbh.

Just had a look and I can't see which pic you're getting that from, but they've got two cages, one squat/military press rack (without any safety bars) and one Smith machine. And chains! Having never used chains in my life I've now used them in four different gyms in the last three months, long may their rise in popularity continue.
