Before High Fat Cut

After High Fat Cut

I'm sure you'll all agree that this demonstrates a resounding success and backs up Gareths theories.

And possibly little winkies!
Karlos wrote:Damn carb bashers! I suppose i will have to change all your views on high fat diets by posting up some good quality pics won't i?
Im off to eat a bowl of full fat mince and mushrooms for supper.
Karlos wrote:Well before this 'get shredded diet' i was eating a macro split of 40/40/15, 5 times a day and 50g WMS,apple and banana PWO. So i don't know what this is classed as?
kp1512 wrote:Thats TKD, Animabolics, style of dieting. Where you consume carbs around workouts, and also refeed selectively....I dont class this as High Fat in the manner that everyone over at MP thinks! Its not new, its not come from MP, and its merely copied from Lyle and a guy called "Animal" prevalent on US Boards some 7-8 years back.
Plus you got to remember, the goal posts on MP about high fat change
- first it was NOT to have high protein, now you must
- then it was NOT to have carbs even around workouts, now it is
- then it was NOT to do cardio...and now we see deludded fat people
- oh and there is no "window of opportunity", when there clearly is inn the 2-3 hours PWO (as opposed to 60 mins)
Its all bollox and they dont have a clue!
Dont worry! I share your thoughts, and I think the rest do know the distinction between the two

I have said probably a thousand times by now that I don't have any problem at all with the general concept of people using significantly more dietary fats for energy than is the common trend, and I am definitely in favour of restricting intake of sugary fast carbs.
My problem is more with the attiude held by certain MP members (who go around either claiming or implying that a high fat diet is the only effective option for all goals) than the actual concepts behind the diets themselves.
