I'm sure you'll all agree that this demonstrates a resounding success and backs up Gareths theories.

I was thinking closer to 3%.

If you compare my after shot to that of Health's in the members gallery then you'll see that body composition is very similar once you take into account the bad posturing.

High fat diets also appear to promote eyebrow growth. Something to beware of

Why are Chavs like slinkies? They have no real use but it's great to watch one fall down a flight of stairs.

Karlos, I think there needs to be a distinction of high fats v High Protien, Medium Fats and Low Carbs....do you follow an out and out high fat?..or only on WO days?

Well before this 'get shredded diet' i was eating a macro split of 40/40/15, 5 times a day and 50g WMS,apple and banana PWO. So i don't know what this is classed as?

Thats TKD, Animabolics, style of dieting. Where you consume carbs around workouts, and also refeed selectively....I dont class this as High Fat in the manner that everyone over at MP thinks! Its not new, its not come from MP, and its merely copied from Lyle and a guy called "Animal" prevalent on US Boards some 7-8 years back.

Plus you got to remember, the goal posts on MP about high fat change

- first it was NOT to have high protein, now you must
- then it was NOT to have carbs even around workouts, now it is
- then it was NOT to do cardio...and now we see deludded fat people
- oh and there is no "window of opportunity", when there clearly is inn the 2-3 hours PWO (as opposed to 60 mins)

Its all bollox and they dont have a clue!

Dont worry! I share your thoughts, and I think the rest do know the distinction between the two

... and there's also a big difference between you Karlos and the others on MP in that you train in a more dedicated way and stick to your diet (AND WOULD PROBABLY DO WELL ON ANY DIET), and also don't go around claiming that higher fat low carbs is the only way to go. I have said probably a thousand times by now that I don't have any problem at all with the general concept of people using significantly more dietary fats for energy than is the common trend, and I am definitely in favour of restricting intake of sugary fast carbs.

My problem is more with the attiude held by certain MP members (who go around either claiming or implying that a high fat diet is the only effective option for all goals) than the actual concepts behind the diets themselves.

I might point out that i would never advocate a low carb diet for anyone trying to gain mass, never! Especially if the individual was a skinny ecto, who obviously handles carbs very well...but at the same time i still believe it's easy to go crazy on carbs when there's simply no need to!..i've gained alot of fat over eating carbs in the past. I think a TKD is the more intelligent approach and the method i will use when i eventually wish to put on some muscle.

I think the majority of us who are in tune with our bodies use TKD probably without realising.
