Yes flaxseed would be on my drink menu. Got the plan on my work lappy but if I remember my shopping list.

BSD regenerate
BSD Optimise™ Milk and Whey Complete Flavoured - 2.5kg (lots)
BSD Omega 3
Flaxseed
Natural Peanut butter
Some fibre tablets (not sure which)
Lastly I need something like Hot-ROX from Biotest, which I dont think BSD has anything similar (at least not right now)

I think thats the complete shopping list, for my V-diet.

Let's see if I can't figure out who you are Will on ocuk...most guys have the same nick here and there Wardie, Morba etc I think there is only one as hairy as you and thats Freefaller :) unless I have mixed Will up with some one else after looking in the photo sections and my crap memory :)

How did you work out how much you needed? Or are you just gonna add a rounded amount to each shake.

To workout how much I need I use the formulas that are posted on T-nation.
If you need to lose more than 35lbs use this one(10.2 x body weight + 879) x .50 = _______ x .8 = _______
this one if less than 35lbs (10.2 x bodyweight + 879) x .50 = _____
It's slightly different for girls but the info is on T-nation V-diet forum.

So basically I put my fat arsed weight into the formula and it comes out to 1277 cals on non training days and 1533 on training days (im using the lose +35lbs formula..)

Once you get your figures you then need to split it up into how many shakes you want to drink a day this is where knowing the calories on your proteins comes in handy (I see that it's been put on the BSD page, thanks KP!) here is how my spreadsheet is looking right now

MWC Flax Seed Omega 3 PB Fiber
Calories Calories Calories Calories Calories Total Calories
Meal 1 7:30 234 16
Meal 2 13:00 234 27
Meal 3 15:00 117 67.5
Meal 4 18:00 234
Meal 5 21:00 117 67.5 27 190
936 135 54 190 16 1331

(Bah seems the structure get lost when I post it here I spent 5 min trying to get it to look readable...grrmbl)

As I'm not 100% of some of these figures it might have to change slightly, but basically I have 3xMWC shakes with 60g and 2xMWC shakes with 30g in them. For training day add in the amount of calories from the BSD regenerate etc.

So that's it. If you want more info PM me and I'll try to explain it in more detail..

Hey I'm half danish! ;)

Im wondering if you could do the V-diet using just BSD Regenerate and Fish oils or if the 25g of carbs per shake, for 6 shakes a day would be too much.

I tihnk the 6x25g carbs would be too much tbh, the idea is to get into ketosis isn't it?

It is suppose to be a low carb diet, also the reason why I'm going with BSD Optimise™ Milk and Whey Complete is because it has both fast and slow releasing properties. If you only get a protein that is fast releasing you will most likely end up being hungry more or less all the time.

ok its definately not for me, low carb turns me into a sleeping slug and coupled with no solids i think id be as weak as a kitten, still very interested in how you get on.

What sort of training do you do by the way?

Welcome dude, i'm guessing you picked this up from OcUK where you've posted your V-Diet journal?

Good luck with it, personally I think it would do you good to occasionaly have a slice of steak or something instead of one of the shakes.

Yeah you do every week you get to have a healthy solid meal, usually people have steak and veggies.

At the moment I'm doing a basic full body workout 3 days/week. It's mainly Squats, Dead lifts and Benchpress, this is to try and awaken my fat old body into going to the gym regularly. Only problem is that the gym I go to in Dumfries is mainly machine based so it's a bit hard doing free weights.

When I start the V-diet I'm gonna try and follow the V-diet workout plan, which could be a bit of a problem with my gym but I'll have to give it a test and see how it works.
