Healthy French Toast

Quite a good twist on a firm favourite.

Mix together:

6 Egg Whites (or 5 Whites and 1 Whole Egg)
A little natural sweetner, Stevia is pretty decent and is found in Sweetleaf
Cinamon
Splash of Almond Milk

Soak 2 slices of Whole Grain Bread and cook and a moderate heat with Coconut Oil.

Why only the whites? Would it not work as well just using whole eggs?

Just to keep Fats and cals down a bit really. There's no reason why you couldn't use all whole eggs.

Okay - I may give this a try tonight. What would you say, 4 whole eggs?

Erm, probably 2-3 at most as the yoke holds a fair amount of volume.

I love french toast / eggy bready whatever you want to call it - But I can't resist somethering it in either sugar & lemon juice if my sweet tooth is in play or tomato sauce if my savoury tooth is in play - So versatile!
