I very rarely do crunches; like once every couple of months. Core exercises like DB Pullins, Pallof presses are great. As are doing lots of standing overhead pressing, especially with DBs (DB Military Presses for example). Low body fat will certainly "bring the abs out". I guess if I really wanted huge abs I could do loads of crunches etc, but I don't want that.

Need to get a few more pics up soonish (when I get my camera back). I've added ~1.5-2kg. Upper back looks much better. I just feel so much more solid now than compared to those very first pics back in Jan 08.

Looking good Scott. Reminds me of Pete's Back shots.

Thanks chaps.

Yeah I do noticed the thicker neck. That pleased me.

Shame I did the pics in B&W origianlly. Plus the lighting wasn't great. But you can still see improvements.

This year has been the biggest change to my training since summer/winter 2006. I've preferred this year's training for the most part and in the past 3 months I've seen faster results than ever.

I've concentrated on getting my back thicker and stronger, especially upper back. I'm happy that it's working out well. More to do of course. I took some front shots that I may post soon. Probably 5-6% body fat at the mo. Added a tiny bit but that's ok as I'm trying to get bigger and some fat is to be expected.

Looking great in the pics. Your earlier pics were amazing because of how lean you were, but you actually look quite big in these pics.

Bloody hell fire. Awesome. I love the definition of all the various muscles, you could be a teaching tool for which muscles are which! (that's a compliment by the way).

Thanks everyone. I do feel the muscle is more dense as it were; been working on getting a thicker back for a while now. Think I've figured out what works best for me.

It's been a while.

I felt good yesterday and so decided to take the obligatory mirror toilet shot. The camera phone didn't really like the lighting, but here they are anyway:

Thanks chaps.

@KP: by my own visual guess based on previous readings and what I looked like before I'd say 4.5-5.5%. Although after reading this interesting post I'm not entirely convinced. Although one thing in my "favour" is that Thib says:
A good example is a coach that I'm friend with, he once tested me at 1.7%... a week later Charles Poliquin (who I respect for this because he is a very objective "pincher") had me at 8.2% (which was closer to the truth... I was probably ever closer to 9-10% at the time)... one week later the first coach retested me, but this time at 2.2%...

Now the two times when Poliquin tested me I was 2.9% (Dec 07) and 2.6% (Jul 07). Since then only one other person, Phil Richards (who trained under Poliquin for a good while), has tested me and I was 4.1% (Mar 09). I have more muscle on me now which can actually make you look leaner (just look at the Pro BBers; they are prob 3-6% but all look leaner than me due to to their massive muscle mass and vascularity etc).

EDIT: and yes I have contemplated what I'd look like if AAS was used, but as I've said many times I will not be doing that.

I've said this before but if I can get to 75-76kg I'd be a very happy man. I actually feel that if I didn't have this knee issue I would be over 73kg as I'd be progressing better on squats and deadlifts. But that is life.

Looking spot on Scott. You don't need that much more weight on you be honest.
