That's brutal and I think perhaps too much to begin with; I'd go with staionary bike sprints of 30 seconds with 30 seconds slow peddling for say 5 sets to begin with

Think thats something I can work with .
18 minutes instead of an hour sounds good !!

KP - cheers pal ( and no always open to ideas !)
Si - was thinking of supersets today as the gym owner was doing squats then press and then squats with a medicine ball - looked brutal !

@ Simon - Yes agree and should have said.

GP - I started with exactly the following mate

on the spot knee ups - basically you remain on the spot and bring your knee high up on each step and bounce off each foot - do that for 30 seconds

[3rd video] prisoner squats at 4:50 - 30 seconds of them

[3rd video] 6:10 - do them for 30 seconds

rest for 60 seconds

repeat

as a start you should be able to do 3-4 sets of the above

aim to get upto 7-8

chop and change - the bike thing simon says is also good - i would change it though to 15-20 seconds flat out and then 30 secs low , then repeat 4-6 times.

Couple of weeks into DC training and its going well

Weights and all exercises are way up as is frequency . Workouts are done now in about 40 minutes which is a little weird !

Doing about 3 warm up sets and then one all out set .

Bench - bit tricky this one weight up to 110 for a set of 12 . Taking it higher for a set of 6-3-1 has been hard as its not easy to get of the uprights
Incline machine press - up about 20kg on this today - strength seriously increasing as you concentrate on one set
Leg press - up about 50kg
machine preachers - up from 40 - 60 whatever the fuck that means
Yates row - added about 10kg
Flyes - back up to 42kg - not strictly DC but I like the stretch

All is going well . I do have to warm up a bit more than others perhaps due to old injuries .
The only issue is arms which I still think need the volume . But ill give it the full month and then see what I think

Currently on full strength Whey and creatine !!!!!!

Good stuff. I think DC as with any program is more beneficial for certain podyparts more so than others. I think arms come off a little worse than ches back and legs from it but in the scheme of things i think this is still positive as if you move the big bodyparts forward then the smaller ones will follow in good time

Had a easy week on the gym front this week .

All work and no play !!!

Managed to get injured again ! Without getting into specifics some bunkernut decide to do a robbery with a meat cleaver whilst high on coke ,ketomine and cannabis . Anyway managed to get him on the landing of a house - unfortunately this didnt give me much room to move and as I got him down I managed to strain a muscle in my back - a situation not helped by body armour which is totally inflexible . Anyway one weeks rest and all is good - except for numkernut who's on remand

5-0 1

Nunkernut 0

Im too old for this shite and should have listened to momma and been an accountant ;)

Two weeks on holiday resulted in a large fat gut which has thankfully now all but gone .
I did some homework before going but was gutted to see that the BB gym I was going to use on Lanzarote had gone .
I was left with a totally shit hotel multigym which resulted in an aggravated shoulder ( poss rotor cuff ) but otherwise completley rested .

workouts now well underway .
Squats at home are now at 130kg for sets of ten . Not much in this company I grant you but a PB for me and it felt good !!!

Lots of training at home at the moment as its School holidays . Went to gym yesterday which was very quiet .
Shifts have all been 12hrs cos of the riots so Im knackered !!

Looking to take a day off for southport if people are still going - anyone got any idea whether its on or off ???

Just squats today

100 x10
120 x 10
130 x 10
140 x 10
140 x 12 !!!!

Again not impressive in this company but a PB for me !!

Job done - off to work !!

Mate, we compete with ourselves, and many people who train can't or won't squat, so nothing to reproach yourself about

About 16 7 .
Ideally need to lose 7 pounds before there but Im obsessed with squats at moment and so dont want to diet and fook that up .

I use some a foam pipe lagging around the bar when squattin so I think I am at least the most metrosexual - especially when I wear my gloves
