Today

Had to train whilst making my daughters lunch and listening , for the 1000th time to High School musical !!
Embarrassingly I now sing along

Inclines

warm up

110 x4 + 100 x 2 + 80 x4
100 x 2 + 90 x 2 + 80 x 1 1/2 ( Wank)

90 x 7 + 80 x 3 + static
80 x 7

Incline flyes ( not some sort of bizarre press as some do !!)

30 x 5 ( left support bar in rack and had to restart !)
30 x 6 1/2
30 x 6

Chest and Tri's pumped - good workout . Growing nicely .

Training day at work tomorrow after which I need to restart ATG's !!

Watch out Troy Bolton.....sorry watch out Rab

Lots of workouts not recorded as i played with hit, volume and then dc

2107/08

DC training

A little over on the sets - I was just enjoying the workout .
Not sorted out the stretches yet .
I ended up sweating like a pig . Best workout and most enjoyable workout in weeks .
All weights to failure although I have a bad hangover after going to do which had a free vodka red bull bar - should go heavier when not hung over !

inclines

100 x 7x2x1
100x4 x2x?

arnold press
20x7x3x2
20x8x4x1 1/2

front pulldown
60 x9
70x8x4x2

dorian rows
60x16
100x5x4x1 ( too much momentum so dropped the weight)
90x8x4x2

Total time 45 mins

Strong inclines Captain. What do you do if you get stuck under that bar with no spotter around? You are still training in the garage?

Im in a power rack mate . I have the safety bars quite low for a full rom , so if I do fail I have to squeeze out .
Its a pain in the arse at times as I often have to unload the bar , lift it back on the bench , and then reload .

Was that while having the halo around your head of just a plastic bag over it?

Dc going well and Im really enjoying it

Inclines - bit of a problem here . Part 1 of the set no problem with 110 kg but after the pause I cant get the bar off the rack . Would be a breeze if I had a training partner . So I have to use a lighter weight so that I can do parts 2 and 3 . Ill just have to go up slowly

Front pulldowns - up to 75 kg

Dorian rows - was using 100 with no problem . But after reading dorians critique of Dugdales back training Ive dropped the weight to 80 and really concentrated on the contraction and controlling the weight . Back was sore the following day so guess dorians right !

Squats - knee feels good but atg have gone down to 100 for a set of 10 . The DOM is terrible . Still felt good to be back doing them .

Today is inclines ,shoulder press ,front pulldowns and ??? It says deadlifts but to be honest I think these are what damaged my back last time . I may try db rows or just do dorians again .

DC is very hard . I sweat like a pig when doing it . The workouts are taking about 45 mins . Would probably be less if I didnt need to move equipment . I can fully understand why Rab felt burned out on this . Its very enjoyable though !! Love it

This weeks workout music - Greatest hits of faith no more (except the shite cover of easy WTF)

Bench ( not really a fan of flat benching )

100 x 7/4/2

arnold press 21 x 8/4/2

front pulldown 80x 7/5/3

dorians 80 x 7/4/2 - too light already
88 x 8/2/1

Didnt rate the benching . Will change to inclines or even flyes
Arnold press as they use less weight than presses and forearms sore
Dorians - love them !!
