Interesting comment made about the incident potentially being put on. The photo's were rather convenient...

good point....i guess with such clear images - if they arent caught then yeh.

the flip side is that if i was to be staged - id have ensured they had faces covered?

Bravery and stupidity and close cousins and stupid is when you get killed for no good reason.

He's a very lucky bloke. I wouldn't have done that.

tough call tbh - unless he KNEW the gun was a replica etc - I would tend to agree with you.

Chances are he just reacted and thought he could take him down and didnt appreciate the gun aspect.

interesting though - in that the courts are now also being more victim friendly.

Guess they need to be tested with a proper case - IE someone shooting dead or stabbing a burglar on premise once or twice.

that will be an interesting case.

If someone threatened my family I wouldn't stop and I know other blokes who are much worse than me, so no doubt it'll happen one day

I'd torture him, but I'd let him live as I don't kill dumb animals

And I vote for stupid . Putting your life on the line is surely only brave to protect another life . To protect " stuff " is ctupid ?
