Good question KP!

My veg/fruit intake isn't the best and I see Greens as a supplement that I could potentially take forever, along with omega-3.

(I am working on the fruit/veg stuff - bought some dried Blueberries to try, 100g was nearly £3!)

I think Scott said that he prefers the Green fuel before, but the price is much higher than the Mega Greens.

I've just recently recieved my batch of the Mega Greens and must say that it just tastes a little bit minty, which is quite nice... at 113 servings for about £30 it's not that bad either.

I got them from the Phil richards site (when it was still active), not sure where else to look off the top of my head, but I know I looked around a little, and there were other sites at pretty much same price. Try just googling "perfectly healthy mega greens plus msm" and I'm sure you'll find it!

It's definitely a "real" mint flavour, not some atrificial spearmint esque flavour tho. I'd liken it to say mint sauce on some veg. Which in my oppinion is pretty tasty!

@Simon: get Mega Greens. Great product, very good price with great ingredients.

GreenFuel is very good (perhaps the best), but is £10 more and lasts half as long. ALso, they are 4 weeks behind manufacturing schedule in America.

Mega Greens from Complete Gyms or EnergiseForLife.

There are lots of Green drinks. There are also lots of single green alkalising supps like Barley Grass, Wheat Grass, Spirulina, that all do a great job of alkalising. But if you have to use just one then buy a "multi" Green drink; lots more variety in it from the ingredients.

Yup! Me too!

Si - Mega Greens does taste quite minty actually, and like previously said, in a natural sort of mint way. Not what I would CHOOSE to drink necessarily but certainly tolerable.

i finally too the plunge and bought some greens, opted for the cheap bastard option firstly, as i was thinking what was the point of spunking 30 sheets if i couldnt tolerate the puke.
so bought some udo's beyond greens..............takes some getting used to, had to mix with barley water for the first few drinks, now i can finally take it neat

bought some himalyan salt today also, so will see if that manages to take the edge off it all

I find the juice of 1/8th of a grapefruit is a good match for UDO's

The Mega Greens do taste way better and I add a lime into mine to help.

I'm with Alex here. The water I drink throughout the day is cold with fresh lemon and lime juice in it (plus good salt) and I find that makes the greens drink about the best it can be...well, to my taste anyway.

Right I'm about to order 3x tubs of these Mega Greens + MSM, are these the best bang for buck then?

@Health - have you stopped selling the greens and reds then? Are these as good as them?

There must be some good savings to be had going by the discounts.

Buy 3 save £10
Buy 5 save £30! (actually you just get a £30 tub free but same thing)

EDIT - Just a tip for anyone who buys the Mega Greens from that site. If you buy these at the same time, it makes your whole order Free! ;)

http://www.energiseforlife.com/item--Hi ... EROIL.html

My P&P on the greens and salt was £6.95 so I got the fish oils free.

Yeah saw them. I wanted more than one tub and also some Himalayan salts so it was cheaper to buy it all from their site and use the fish oils to get free P&P.

Good plan as the charge is silly IMO.

The salt will last you ages. I got 1kg months ago and looks like I've hardly touched it still.

Are you cooking/seasoning with the salt, or just adding it to drinks?

Mainly drinks but will cook with it as well if it needs salt.

Thought it easier to resurrect an old thread than start a new one!!

I used to use Udos and found this a lot better than megagreens but had to discontinue the udos when I read the seeds within were not good for my condition. Can the Meagreens be used as an addition to my protein shakes which I currently do or should it be used inbetween meals as most of you suggest, does it diminish the effaciacy of the product to use it my way? I find this more convenient for work to toss some him salt and some greens in the protein shake and consume!!

Also, does anyone have some experience with MP's Superfood XS, I was thinking of using this in addition to Megagreens as a cheap way to boost my fruit intake (although it's only an extract) without the increase in fructose (I'm low/cyclical carb) and a large number of fruits are totally off limits due to my condition?

Cheers
