Ginkgo Biloba Extract

Postby FatboyGinger on Tue Sep 02, 2008 6:19 pm

Hi
I have bought this but I forgot to check what it does , and whether people rate it.
Anyone tried it? Thoughts?

I don't rate it much at all tbh. I've had a tub that I got from H&B in the sales, should have been about £35 or something!!! Seriously WTF is that price about??? Think I paid about £6 for it.... still got half a tub left.

I suppose it can be ok taken pre-workout to help focus? Or even PWO as an Antioxidant but there are better supp's out there.

Also do not take it with Rhodiola... that's just not nice at all!

Post workout as Bison mentions is where it could be used but personally I'd use some Greens post workout instead which would be far more beneficial.

OK thanks guys.
I paid 3 quid for 120 tabs from an American site, as I was ordering alot else it meant the shipping didn't go up so I thought I might as well try it.
Post workout it is then :)

Should of got Gingseng instead? I once had some strange G-Up tablets or something that were Ginseng/Vit C and something else, really woke me up in the morning it was a quite noticeable effect (I don't get this from many supplements).

I really need to get some Greens

There's nothing wrong with Ginkgo as an anti-oxidant. As a PWO supp I don't rate it, other than it's anti-oxidant properties.

All depends what you want it for. I have some chucked in a tub with about 6 other anti-oxidants that I take randomly.
