GALTS ROAD LESS TRAVELED

Well since im a journal whore i thought i should start a new one. This will be my road to 10% bf which will be hard work but to be honest everything is hard work thats worth having.
Weights will be TUESDAY,THURSDAY,FRIDAY and cardio will be pre breaky 5 days a week. Starting at 30 mins and i will be upping this as needed.
Basically i will lose weight either by upping cardio or dropping carbs by 50g a day. My preference will be to up cardio initially and then manipulate the diet once i get 1 hour pre breaky on the cardio.
This week im getting back into the swing of things after the week off so cardio will start next week. Tonight will be my first workout with weights and i am back with a new log book and will be posting some good numbers pretty soon.
Diet wise this week is clean and on track.

Yep. I plan to do the BNBF southern in 2010 so thats the only road for me. I wouldn't want to to the dark side. its not what im about.
I will stick to my Hit training but add in some widow makers or fst 7 for weaker bits. Upper chest and side delts being 2

Scot, I truly believe that we can train our mind to excel or fail and I'm sorry mate, but you seem to be putting a glass ceiling above you. I used to do the same, but now realise that we can all exceed our own expectations.

In response to all this bobbins. I have trained more often in my life.I really dont get anything from it sorry. I dont grow from it. I dont enjoy it and thats the most important thing. I once wrote and article for another supplement copy http://www.**/?page=article&id=144
This routine produced massive gains for both me and my mate. We had both been training for a good 6 + years at this point and are both natural. We grew big time. I went from doing 4 times a week to that routine and within a month i added half a stone not all muscle,but a lot of it was muscle. All i changed was my training.
Im not alone in training this way. Troy Brown did, James L does and i think Mike and Para also do 3 times a week.

BACK AND REAR DELTS
Warm up 5 mins on x trainer and rotaor cuff excercises

Reverse pulldowns
3 warm ups
125lb x 10 rp 2 these were paused and the conraction and partial were also done

Bent over row
2 warm ups
90kg x 8 ds 60kg x 5 again paused at the contraction

1 arm cale row machine
1 warm up
150lb on the selector x 10 reps

Bent over rear laterals
2 warm ups
12.5kg x 9

deads
4 warm ups consisting of adding 40kg and doing 5 reps then
190kg x 5 the last rep was a real fight but im not in the mood to lose at the moment

Also did 30 mins an the bike and stretched

Mike i would really enjoy that mate. Also if anyone is down south near me and fancys a workout pop me a pm and we can train :twisted:

I can undertsand that - 4 times or more a week is hard - When I was doing 5/6 times a week I felt knacked all the time - good for cutting but not good for adding mass.

4 times is always difficult as at some point you have to train 2 days in a row - requires a real careful split to avoid any doubling up on muscle groups on those days - and there's always some crossover it seems to me however hard you try to 'split' body parts.
