Quite enjoyed it and found a good combination of strength and fullness from it. Worked well enough for Jay to win this year's Olympia.

on the last movement do 7 sets - use a weight that you can get 10 reps easy the first and it gets harder - and do the 7 sets with 30 seconds rest inbetween [keep weight the same if you can]

With chest for example you'd do the fst work with cable cross overs. I did a few weeks of this with Alex - really works well. Good stuff

Spotty dog, may try next year.My body doesn't react well to lots of volume for some reason.

Im sure your supposed to do less volume on your compound lifts. So in terms of overall volume it shouldnt be that much different. i.e. instead of doing 6 sets or so bench do 3 maybe 4...I have done it but never consistantly enough to say it makes a difference. I generally do/did it when stuck for time. Always got a solid workout and pump.

German Volume Training is worth a look too finlee...same sort of principle I think but you basically pick one compound lift, use a weight you can get 10 reps on. Do 10 sets of 10 on that one lift with 30-60 seconds rest in between and thats it. nothing else for that bodypart. Something like that anyways.. musclemag had a good article about it before...always fancied trying it..

I don't know of anyone that's tried GVT and got on well with it, although I may be proved wrong.
