Used them for dips today and after doing that I get no hand pain at all on dips. I also used them for pullups and they work the grip in a nice way.

These would be good for dips though as a thicker bar is much better for it...scaffolding pole thickness is perfect for dips imo. have always ment to weld myself up a dip bar with some scaffold i could steal while drunk and walking home from the pub
