No one brought me grapes

Great way to lose weight though, being ill. Might attempt some deadlifts after although I really need to sleeeeeeeeep because I been up since and have work tonight. Maybe a couple hours later...

Enjoy your heroes, I got half of season 3 and 24 redemption to wade through :D

10/12/2008 - update

hit the weight goal last week qt 11st 2.5. strength is down a little - a bit annoying but getting my reps with rest pauses although have not done a proper lower workout last week and looking at just doing deads n squats this week to condense 2 lower sessions in to 1 day as I'm uber busy this week.

Diet is a bit all over the place and sleep is a bit cruddy as I've let the missus sleep in a bit but it's not so bad. The other thing is the 1000 piece jigsaw i started the other night, was up till about 9.30 this morning still pissing about with it - 4.5 hours sleep

Also since the start of December I've done a bottle of Brandy in winter warmers when I get in - and mince pies have been added to my pre bed meal but I earn them :?

That's about it, may not get the 150kg deadlift for new year, but will now fit in my jeans when I go out next friday. Still optomistic though - will prob warm up to it and get it out of the way first and drop back for reps - simple pleasures...

Wow! managed to train today which is nice. Not had so many Espressos with the missing sessions lately so I think that may be what made me feel a little ill and I reckon I came down hard mid session but it was still an overall good feel to be at it and my stomach has settled down now. Slightly disappoited with weights moved as they were all down slighlty from my best efforts, but it was on the back of a week of 4 hrs sleep a day and I've had this annoying blocked up head for abotu a week and a half and was nearly rid of it but it flared up again. Surprisingly though, pullups were good and that was really nice for me and BOR were the same if a couple of cheaty reps at the end so I left that happy.

Claire been ill for a month now. She seen a doctor - he gave her antibiotics for a possible kidney infection, protein in her water. I can't really do much to help her with being ill but I guess I'll be busy round the home until we get to the bottom of it. I've suggested a food diary and eating more greens possibly a multivit but don't know anything about it really. Trying to be supportive, it's hard cos we need the money from her overtime and we had tears today - wish there was more i could do... She was doing really well with her healthy eating but this has knocked her right back and she grazes on shite - I think this is part of the problem but it's hard to put that across without sounding a heartless ****.

busy busy...

Just being supportive goes a long LOOOOOONG way for women. Seriously. The only way to get her to graze on good shite is to start doing some of the cooking etc, as you are being extra considerate and taking on more responsibility she is more likely to eat what you make and less likely to complain. :D

Oh and I am seriously impressed at the way you care about her. Kudos me dear. How's the not smoking going?

Cheers GB - I should do more most of the time, but it means that getting the sessions in is quite hard. It's not hard for me to be doing more with the kids though and since the beginning of the month, Lucy has been so happy and jolly it's been very easy - Christmas fever. I just wish she'd stick to one washing product - we've got some wierd stuff you squirt in a lid now and lob in the drum WTF - smart looking bottle though

Not smoking is not going well at all but it's a very different animal now - I hate being a slave to it and every one is disgusting. I keep forgetting to get my sugar free lollies though. Going out next Friday so it's not gonna fly then either - I feel really shitty about it tbh.
