Deadlift PB

Postby Will on Sun Feb 07, 2010 5:38 pm

I managed 230kg today with no straps or belt. Tried it, bar didn't go anywhere, focused and the bar came flying up - well, it was fairly neat and good form! So so so chuffed! :D :D I'm nearing my 600kg target - 560kg now. The next 40kg are going to be effing hard!

Before doing my working sets I just decided to go for it. Tried 155 bench, but after 3 sets of 35kg dips for reps I was a bit burnt out! :p

120kg t-bars were good too.

Really happy - sticking point for ages!

Thanks guys. :)

Bench - I PB'ed 150kg a while back, but I'm ok on 140 for one or two now.

Yeah I completely forgot to get someone to video it :( The 4 people in the gym did stop to watch me do it though - so that actually helped!

Next time I try heavy I shall be sure to get it on camera. :)
