Anyone ever use, hear of, this supplement and its use with creatine to enhance creatine uptake within cells?

Have heard of it but don't really know much about it or have ever used it... from what i recall it's active ingredient is from a herbal that supposedly increases insulin sensitivity or uptake via insulin... i think!

That is it I think,

here is the fully study I managed to find,

http://faculty.css.edu/tboone2/asep/Gre ... ER2001.pdf

I first saw the compound reported in a book I was reading, and this is the only available link to the study, the other one is a dead link, thus I wasn't eable to find that earlier.

Ah ok, found some info but the referenced studies look to be unavailable :(

D-Pinitol is a form of the B vitamin inositol that was initially discovered in the leaves of a plant called Bougainvillea spectabilis, which had been used in traditional healing medicine for many diabetic associated conditions. Further studies found it to have insulin-like properties but without causing hypoglycemia in individuals. D-Pinitol has now become one of the better studied insulin mimickers in the supplement industry and is proving to be an excellent aid in improving glucose metabolism.
