Yeah, you've got decent size there Curt. I've probably been a bit harsh but you've taken it in good humour so fair play to you.

Definitely, alot of the bodybuilders in my gym are on the shorter side. On the other hand there are one or two 6'6 giants, one fella is an absolute tree, must be 6'5 and 25 stone, scary.

Curt, i know what your saying. I couldn't have been any further from a bully at my 6th form yet when your 3-4stone heavier than most of the other lads (most 17-18 yr olds are unhealthily skinny!), respect isn't exactly hard to come by.

Thing is you earn respect, you don't not automatically think you should have it because of your size. I know a couple of guys weighing at 9 stone that would kill you in seconds but you'd fail to show them any respect because you're bigger?

Respect is about how you conduct yourself, it's about integrity, knowing when to be humble, to say sorry, to not be two faced.

After seeing that thread on PLUK last night I'm afraid I would have to agree with the bold bit..

6.2" baby. But i do agree being big doesnt earn the respect, training hard and helping others achieve their goals is what i feel earns the respect in the gym.

I'd guess we can expect Curt to be two-faced he still is rather immature for his age. But he'll learn (hopefully) by his mistakes in life. Most of us have our faults (I know I have) but we learn to adapt them and hold them back most of the time. As Curt eventually matures he will hopefully learn the same.

If he wants to progress in competition and a career then he needs to do it ASAP.
