Couple of questions.

Firstly Basmati or brown rice? And secondly is it true that pineapple has anti inflammatory properties? I read this in a readers digest book recently and thought i would ask if anyone had any info.

Brown or Basmati, which do you prefer? I use both

As for the pineapple, I've never used it but I think its the bromelain in pineapple that is an anti-inflammatory. So I'm guessing you'd have to buy this. You could try rubbing pineapple in I guess. Especially if the missus likes the taste :P

Basmati is lower GI but thats about all the difference there is. Basmati is easier to cook too.

Yeah Pineapple has anti inflammatory properties due to the Bromelain as Ressie says. This can help coughs, asthma etc etc etc also recovery. Oscar De La Hoya drinks it after his training for this reason.

Many foods are anti inflammatory. But dont forget inflammation is needed for muscle growth ;)
