Coop's Cut Progress

Postby Coop_de_Ville on Fri Feb 13, 2009 9:16 pm

Its been 6 weeks since I started my cut following a low carb approach. The last week has been hypertrophy so I have started upping cal intake and carb usage. So in total I have been cutting for 5 weeks.

Starting BF% =14.4
Ending BF% =11
(Using DEXA scanner)

Weight at start =101kg
Weight at end =95.8kg (lowest recorded) Avg of around 97kg during the day and night.

Good job mate, visibly that's a huge difference - the numbers really don't tell the story.

Are you planning on continuing the cut?

Thats a pretty big difference in a short time span.

Reminds me of before and after for various supplement magazine ads.

'Be effective: do what works...and keep doing it.'

Yeh I am quite pleased. A lot lighter thats for sure.

On a 4 week hypertrophy cycle at the moment so upping the cals and carbs.
Will start another cut/slim down at the end of this cycle. But it will really be more of a eating healthy/ not over eating than a drastic cut.

Aim to get down to 9% in 3 months time.

You've cut up nice. I'd hit you for sure. I'd keep my hand on my wallet at the same time. Canny trust a scouser.

Similar shape to myself. You just a little taller / heavier.

Mate that's some awesome work there, definately added lean mass onto your frame while cutting. Amazing for such a short period, you'll have to let us in on your secrets! Should be chuffed mate, keep up the good work, going to have to copy you myself when my hip works and I can do cardio.....I feel about as beastly as RC at the mo!

Cheers everybody

Main approach was keeping sugar content throughout the day below 50g and maintaining insulin levels to a fairly low amount. Pleased that I have put on lean mass also as if i tried a carb diet approach I would have lost alot of strength and lean muscle. The anabolic most definitley works! Going to do it for my dissertation.
