DS has been available for a while.

I noticed that the photo is identical to the Ds I got from extreme as well so potentially could be genuine. The price seems very suspect though.

Well it works out like

£0.99 product
£0.99 P&P
£0.99 insurance

It's the same no matter how many bottles you add, so it's works out at £3 per bottle. It's probably costing him about £0.30 P&P... still less than half-price though.

Only worry is a lot of scammers these days are going for the low-prices in large volume and the way they've priced is just perfect. I can't see why anyone would sell for such a low price when they'd sell like hot cakes at £4-£5.

Out of date maybe?

DS is very cheap from India - however to sell at 99p means something seems suspect. after shipping to UK he must be doing it for pennies in terms of profit....maybe no more than 40-50p a bottle - which would be a total waste of time

From what I can remember the fake tablets have a rough finish to them while the genuine ones are smooth.

They've turned up now and came direct from India.

Use by date is April 2009, so I'm guessing that's why they were so cheap. Should be fine for now.

Nope. Negative feedback here we come - I'm slightly worried that they're fakes as well.

Ollie - take a pic of the tub and tablet and post or send it. Ill tell you there and then mate.

If you can make sure you get the pic of the bottom of the tub, the top where the cap fits and the label...i can pretty much be certain

The April 2009 is actually the manufacturing date according to the label, so they're "in date".

Got the pack back and put it next to one I know is genuine and I think the product is the same. Looks the same and smells the same in any case

Also had this response from the seller. Reasonably bullish about it - I told them it looked different to the other Liv52DS I have (it doesn't) and they came back with this. Looks like I got lucky

We are authorized dealer and a reputed pharmacy in India for Himalaya products, we have being in this business since 15 years, we do not sell fakes.

Maybe the one you have is fake or not LIV52 DS just the plain LIV52.

Or maybe the differrence is in UK manufactured Himalaya products compared to India Manufactured.

You can take the item to a local Himalaya Dealer and check that the item is genuine.

We do have the proper documentation, Invoices from Himalaya Healthcare Company

tough one hey - he may be right in that the localseller may have done the labeling? that may explain the bad label?

To be honest I made something up about the tabs looking different to the other ones I have to see how he responded - they actually look/smell exactly the same.

The label is a bit misaligned and creased on one of the bottles (I bought 4).

Really hard to know for sure!

i said before when this started - I have no idea how theyd make money by selling fakes as out there there sooo cheap anyway but then odd things have happened!. the reason why this occurs is that they dont have control on the reseller channel and so each local person can do what they want...bad really.
