I've found that my porridge recipe isn't ideal if training 1-2hrs later... well, it's not ideal compared to how I feel when I have my veggie/fruit smoothies; these boys are just an amazing start to the day and you do feel really awake and alive. Otherwise it's only an hour between breakfast and starting my daily food and I think this timing works well as things are "warmed up" so to speak.
