Do any of you lot find that when you eat clean you eat more?

Yday I went through 8 meals in the whole day! mixture of 3 lots of Oats, 3 lots of chicken and brown rice, 2 x 6 egg scarmbled eggs with 60g cheese, and 4 servings of Protein total with some of the meals and I still could have eaten more!

Now if Id have thrown in a cheat - Id be lucky to have eaten my usual 5 meals. Only saviour for me was I went to sleep at 7pm as was shattered!

I love eating clean and lots and growing!

Yeah I'm the same mate. I think its all to do with good blood glucose levels.

surely the inverse should be true? Cheats normally cause a peak and trough in blood glucose thus causing psuedo hunger during the crash.

My guess is that you are lacking in a particular nutrient and your body is creating hunger in the hope that you ingest the nutrient it requires. The most obvious one is water as thirst manifests itself as hunger.

Sometimes I'll eat like a horse and wonder why I'm feeling hungry... then I'll remember the thirsty thing, have a pint of water and feel fine lol

I find appetite relates a lot to what i'm eating - high fat foods shut down my appetite almost after one mouthful but with protein & carb foods i have a much healthier appetite.
