what I am trying to look at, at the moment : is a very specific peri WO helps to cope with intensity and volume,?after 5 days with 10 WO I can say yes I never had this feeling, feels like I am 15 (maybe better as I did not manage to be sore even the ischios) recovery is incredible :o . now if I go back to a "normal" amount of calories I will start regaining weight, clean bulk as bison would say.

What is amazing for me is the comfort provided by a "proper" peri WO nutrition that works by reloading ATP, creates positive nitrogen balance, boost insulin. it is the first time I experience this.

I think these concepts are the same for BB or other physical stimuli stressing the body, then the total calories and the macros are for sure different according to what you are aiming at. At the moment I am really happy I can do 6 to 8 sets of 10 chinup pullup + the rest of the body everyday and recover very well and this is actualy due to my peri WO nutrition (as you could see the total Kcal is depressing :D ), I did post a paper about the impact of the post WO MPS on the 24 hours following a training session.


orinocco experienced it, dtlv74, I think Kp, me too, high speed nitro + specific CHO peri WO helps a lot the MPS, recently dtlv trained and could not have his EAAs BCAAs he used some whey instead he was sore even after 2 months of regular training his enzymatic adaptation is not the explanation for his "lack" of soreness, it is well the use of high speed nitro source what do you think ? According to some research the EAA blend we can get from ESN or MP might be much much more efficient and in fact 20 grams of EAAs would equal to between 80 and 120 grams of whey :o when I did these calculation I was bit shocked.

TBH I am thinking about bulking :D weight training is just fun with these magic supps. only 16% of the whey casein soy is transformed into new tissues the rest is used as energetic substrate (this without CHO, with CHO it will be I hope lower) with EAA the nitro waste are much lower.

I often start the day with a steak stew containing loads of veg and and a slice of wholemeal toast its quick and easy and saves me loads of time, i love my pressure cooker!!
