Best "milkshake" protein shake

Postby cleaver on Tue May 10, 2011 5:15 pm

Looking for something to take on holiday by way of having a break from the norm. Looking for a nice flavour and a blend of protein sources (no soy)

For the avoidance of doubt I do not want any of those 20% protein shakes that those welsh fcukers were selling to every diddy company a while back. Genuine low carbs only!

Your recommendations please. Winning suggestion gets my Elvis dead on the toilet with prolapsed guts porcelin model. :D

Something like a propeptide blend? Or make your own; milk, whey, egg, hemp, brown rice.

All that I say is hypothetically speaking and I do not condone the use of illegal substances. You should also eat your vegetables and use high SPF sunscreen

Medication - Could go a day and not feel hungry. I choose to eat rather that feel I have to :?

On occasion I get my gym to make me up a shake when I fancy one - although at £4 a go I don't do it often. Best I've tried is USN pistachio made up with water, oats and crushed ice. Actually tastes really good.

Try mixing something with coconut water for taste, or coconut milk.

Haven't tried it, but that Boditronics J20 gets good reviews. It's meant to taste really fruity (not creamy like other shakes) and I imagine it would be nice when it's hold and you don't fancy something heavy/creamy. Pricey though.
