Any Squash players out there?

Postby Spit on Sun Jun 22, 2008 12:28 pm

I'm putting this in the Cardio section as I mostly just started playing again for the fitness benefits, but am now absolutely loving the game in its own right- the last time I played was when I was 16 (I'm now 25) but at the mo I can't get enough, I've played 3 games in the last week alongside my usual workouts. If there's a better form of HIIT out there than a closely-matched squash game then I'll be amazed, by the end of a good match I'm sweating like a blind lesbian in a fishmongers.

Any of you lot keen?

Same here.

I also took a ball in the eye straight from the racket when I stupidly looked back and lost my sight there for about 3 days. Nearly lost my eye too as they had to treat the pressure build up.

Played a little after but kinda lost it's appeal!

Ouch, don't fancy that much... perhaps I should seek out some specs, ideally some sweet wraparound shades like that dude on Star Trek wears.

Not sure this thread was a good idea in hindsight, it has me gagging for another game right now! Thankfully I'm dole scum at the moment so can get in there most weekdays and take advantage of the cheaper daytime rates 8-)
