Anti estrogens for women

Postby Craig on Sat Aug 22, 2009 10:34 pm

Need some sources for stuff really and also how people rate the following products for removal of estrogen.

Calcium-D-Glucarate
DIM or I3C? - DIM is better?
resveratrol

and also looking for a "soft" fibre supplement and keeping the bowls moving is critical for hormone removal, thinking of phylum husk powder?

Any thoughts and sources comrades?

Calcium-D-Glucarate: I've never used this supp, nor have any of my clients, but it's rated highly. Poliquin loves it (but then he sells it): http://www.charlespoliquin.com/Suppleme ... health.php

It does seem to have some good research and appears to be a powerful supp.

It's a very expensive supp though.

Nutri sell one: £37.63 for 90 500mg caps (1-3 a day).
AOR sell one: £16.60 for 60 200mg caps

DIM or I3C? - DIM is better?: yes, I think DIM is better. Here's what Poliquin says: http://www.charlespoliquin.com/Guru/DIM.php

My wife and a few of my clients (including GymBunny) had some good results with DIM. I'd recommend it.

Nutri DIM (aka Indoplex): £19.95 for 30 caps. They've mixed it with a bit pf PC that is also good at detoxifying xenoestrogens.

Resveratrol: an aromatase enzyme inhibitor right. Also a powerful antioxidant. The Trans version is the only one that works though.

BSD sell it, but you'll ned to be careful with dosing since they only sell it as powder.
AOR sell it too: £24 for 90 231mg (100mg res) caps. Trans-resveratrol (in oxygen, pH, and light resistant beadlets 100mg, Luteolin 20mg, Quercetin 51mg, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 40mg, Piper Nigrum 20mg, Other Ingredients: EDTA and Rosemary extract.

Psyllium Husk Powder: a must for everyone imo. So cheap and yet so effective at providing top quality fibre. Get it from a local health food shop or order online.

£12-£15 per kg.

If you want organic then you're looking at £20-£25.
