Anti Cortisol

Postby Alex on Mon Sep 29, 2008 10:48 pm

Here's a thought:

Along side mega dosing with Cissus, what about pre bed mega dosing of Tribulus?

I'm seriously considering getting some Phosphatidyl Serine. A bit pricey at £30 per 100g but HttK seems to swear by it... anyone else tried it?

What strength was that mate? 20%?

You rate it then for anti cortisol?

Trib won't do didly for you mate other than make your wallet lighter.

It's one of those things which should have worked, but never did in humans.

I disagree.... a good strength Trib with high protodioscin content definately does something in regards to test levels.

Are you citing opinion? anecdotal evidence? or actual studies?

Define does something in regards T levels?
How did you know BV / Free T increased?
Did T increase beyond supra physiological levels?
What side effects ensued?
How did the increase in T affect the NFL?
Did you get shutdown?
Are you mistaking an increase in libido function (placebo induced) for an increase in T?
How were SHBG levels affected?
Did E increase as a result of the increase in T?
What effects on LBM were seen?
Of any LBM changes what was ECW / ICW?

Spots on my temples, raging boners... especially in the morning...

...

supa dupa levels
What side effects ensued?
Mrs.Bison got pounded...
How did the increase in T affect the NFL?
Very little effect... the Miami Dolphins still lost to the Dallas Cowboys as per usual
Did you get shutdown?
What am I a feckin laptop??
Are you mistaking an increase in libido function (placebo induced) for an increase in T?
I drink coffee and it doesn't make any difference when I swap to PG Tips.
How were SHBG levels affected?
Sorry is that a typo? Should that read SHAG?
Yes I already told you... ask the missus.

Did E increase as a result of the increase in T?
Actually now you mention it I did want to dance everytime a phat choon came on... and was feeling loved up more than usual.
What effects on LBM were seen?
Eh? Leg Before..... Minge??
Of any LBM changes what was ECW / ICW?
Now you're just taking the piss! :P

...yes...

How old are you Tall? I find that stacked with ZMA trib gives me superb sleep, and im a really bad sleeper. I also feel more positive when im taking it regularly. So athough im with you on it probably not having any direct effects on muscle growth and strength, improved sleep and pma defintaly contribute to those things indirectly.

It seems that you do need to be one of us older lads to get much benefit from it though.

I've had positive results from Trib in the past, even to the point of a slight increase in gym aggression which was a little surprising. I think a 3 cap dose of a decent strength may fare well.

Currently using the 50% stuff, got it from bulk nutrition but endo amp from the nutra site looks better value, I'm using 800mg of active a day, not really that impressed TBH.

Personally I would go for Cissus, and mega dose Vit C and Fish Oils.

That might not be the answer you were looking for though.

I'm claiming on this board that I'm in my mid 20's, but I really should keep a spreadsheet to track my lies/extravagent claims. :D

I like ZMA but I prefer it with Niacin. I personally found that it works best / fastest for me with either a large glass of Grapefruit Juice or a large glass of Smoothie about 30-45mins before I plan to goto sleep.

Just out of interest what bf% do you put yourself at roughly?

I'm thinking maybe you need to be under 12% to notice effects from supp's like this? I mean as in lower bodyfat around the belly button for example??

health4ni wrote:I use 20% PS and it works for me. I like it.

What would you say is the most noticable thing you get from using this supp?

7-8% bf

I was going by sleep quality as there's little bf to come off that area.

^^ you should post a pic craig. 90kg and 7-8% BF should look great. Although suppose it depends on height as well, and I cannot remember how tall you are, but still.
