Another post holiday pic thread

Well after a good 2 weeks of not doing any gymming or taking any protein, living off incredibly fresh food, i.e. picked within a couple of days of being put on display and no pesticides used at all (the tomatoes are of all shapes and sizes, some bruised, some not, i.e. as organic as you can get, but for about 70% of the price), lots of fruit, and grilled meats and fish. Sunshine (hence my horrible looking skin (suncream makes my skin spotty :(), swimming and lots of walking seems to agree with me. I've lost a good 4lbs at least which is a bugger, but I should hopefully get that back, I think a lot of it was probably water anyway. I've trimmed down a fair bit around the waist in my opinion too. Unfortunately some of the shots are a bit blurred as I couldn't keep the camera still and the flash bleached the shot out completely, but some of the ones I tried to show the striations in my shoulders which are very apparent now. Anyway, this is just proof that holidays are good for you, and although I wasn't training at all, a good diet and a bit of exercise goes a long way. I've dropped to 208lbs which I'm probably better for, but hopefully I can keep the trimmness and just put on some lean muscle as a result.

A poor attempt at showing the separations in my shoulder

Trying to show the edge of my abs - external obliques?

Image

Again trying to show the development - never used to be able to see these before so I have leaned up - I must have surely?!

Image

Main trunk looking trimmer, less bulbous around the obliques/hips, some decent separation in the shoulders, and nice clear abs too - quite a powerful looking trunk, slim but not SLIM, if you see what I mean? I don't really want to lean out much more.

Just a back shot.

Another back shot - for some reason I'm not flexing my right arm as much as my left so makes me look all skew whiff.

Now I just need to motivate myself to get back to the gym!!

You have a good solid physique. You look really strong.

Go to the gym today and get it over with. Do all the hardest exercises....squats, deadlifts barbell rows, incline press, clean & press, pullups, dips....take your pick. That wil get you over it :)

Yeah that's what I'm thinking - just do a big full body destruction day and see how it goes from there! :D It's going to be painful!

Go to the gym and let the pain commence.

Looking very solid, smug and tanned.....grrrr at you and your holiday. Really like the side arm shot ;)

Judging by your waist you're not holding much water there which would ring true if you're diet was mainly fresh meat and vegetable based.

Everything was literally so fresh you could still see the earth on the veggies, hear the lamb breathe and feel the fish squirming. Such good food, very low fat, rich in nutrients and just generally wonderful! :D

I do very much enjoy eating food like that. I try and shop at farm shops now and with supermarket prices constantly on the up, there's actually not much in it any more. all my meat is from the local butcher so at least is reasonably fresh.

Yeah it's hard in this part of the UK to find decent fresh food stores. Though I went to the billingsgate fish market one morning and the amount of fresh fish you could buy for next to nothing was incredible. A hard slog to get up there for 6am though!!

It's just the fruit and veg I can't get over - it tastes so good, so much flavour. Of course the meat is fantastic quality too and you can just tell by the way it cooks and how easy it is to prepare - in fact I eat a fair bit of raw meats up there - not for everyone I admit but delicious if you trust your butcher.
