Time for a new Journal

The rest of the year will be a little hit and miss due to enormous work commitments and some personal stuff which I won't bore you with.

So training will be more focused during the week on fun and at the weekends, I'll try and hit some heavy weights.

The rugby training I'm doing with Emanuel Lions Under 8's is great fun and I'm on my first coaches course on 3 December. I'm also training a local school's under 13s this Thursday and if that works out, I'll continue with that as I want to help kids get fitter and enjoy sport.

Weight wise, I'm a little heavier and fatter than I would like, but hopefully I can eat right and train better for the next few weeks and get back down to 95kgs lean. I'm about 102kgs today and feeling a little sluggish for it.

beer should be a staple in anybodys diet

i have consumed more than my fair share of beer recently- pints aswell which doesnt help, ordinarily tend to opt for bottles, granted it works out a false economy due to the speed at which they go down, but tend to then move on to wine to avoid to much bloat- however been staying on gas.

good stuff for dedicating your time to youngsters- there is a slim chance you will be accepted through those pearly gates yet you rogue

Saturday 26 November 2011 weight = 98kg

Lost 4 kgs this week by eating right and not pissing it up

Also trained a lot of school kids on Thursday, great fun. I've also been asked to coach the pack in another side as their scrum technique is poor

Update as at 13 December 2011

Current Weight 94kgs and falling.

It's strange, I lose weight at this time of year.... I just can't be arsed to eat loads. Must be the lack of sun light.

Super sup free for 2 months and still as strong, although condition and stamina not as good.

Trained chest on Saturday, all good and back and biceps tonight. Enjoyed that.

Going for Triceps and Shoulders on Wednesday.

Update - 20 December 2011

Weight 93kgs

The old competitive spirit is starting to come back. Due to loads of stressy crap at work and other shite with schools the last couple of months have been hard, but with th New Year comes a new resolve.

Trained chest on Saturday. Couple of sets of inclines with 50kgs, dips with 40kgs, hammer strength pressing 150kgs, so all good.

Tonight is shoulders and triceps, so will do smith press with 105kgs and work down from there. Training back and biceps Wednesday and chest on Friday.

My ankle has finally stablised after a few bad months which could have resulted in a further operation. So time to train legs again, but only light high reps stuff I'm afraid, but you can only do what you can do.

In terms of goals, I'm just going to enjoy training and I will have 18" arms by June. No doubt whatsoever on that. Rab has mad guns, I have girl peashooters, this cannot be allowed to continue!!!

@ Rilla: I know mate very light, look at photos from Saturday on my FB page!

Do not worry. I'll be back up to 100kgs, with less fat and more muscle in the New Year
