Sounds ok in theory but you'd require a lot of discipline as you're effectively dieting for half the year overall.
I'm not sure how the body would like the constant yo-yoing either. I'm personally still a fan of Protein Cycling over a 3-4 week period with a gradual increase and decrease in levels over a 5-7 time period when moving between levels.
