Training a client today and in walks Jimmy Marku, the recently crowned Britain's Strongest Man. He was there for a photo shoot in readiness for a UK Strongman contest in Belfast this weekend.
He's originally Albanian, but lives in London now.
He seems like a nice fella. Bloody big. And also quite defined for such a large man. Smaller that Mariuz, but similarish in build; a more modern looking strongman if you like. Massive traps!
He took his top off for some photos.
My client, a lady, didn't want to continue lifting 30kg RDLs, but I made her lol. tbh everyone was looking at Jimmy.

Was pulling yer leg dude, but surprised that he beat Hollands, just watched his heat weds and thought he was taking it very easy - mainly to avaoid injury. He looked like he could easily have blown em away without tiring too much

with the recent invention of camera fones you should be ashamed of yourself for not aquiring a foto with said strongman. However, since the lense probably wouldnt fit such a monster I shall not give you a beat down this time

I like Marku, he has personality while competing. Hes no Marunde, but, he is awesome none the less :]
