18-30's

Postby craig_89 on Mon Aug 18, 2008 2:11 pm

Went on a lads holiday to Magaluf last year with the 18-30's. Cost us 400 quid each for a week self catering. Then, when we got there, had to pay another 200 Euros to join the actual club including the bar crawls etc.

Going to Ayia Napa in ten days with the 18-30's again, an was wondering...
Has any1 has done this? How much it costs roughly? And is it worth it?

Cheers 8-)

How many people will you be with? Only a quick reply im afraid as im wolfing down food before footy. I went to Agia Napa 2 years ago with a group of 12, you need a big group for club/bar reps to fight for you with offers, DONT settle for first offers at the start of the square. It was pretty damn expensive and i can only imagine it is worse now. In 6days I spent 300pounds (GBP) which was on par if not a little less than the rest of the group. Make sure you hit the beach and the waterpark, they are immense and made for stupid drunken antics

Theres ten of us going mate. 300 quid for 6 days dont seem tht bad, considering i was 900 quid for a week self catering in magaluf last year lol.

Will definitely consider going to the waterpark when im there, if the heat isnt killing me.

Were you on 18-30's when u were there? how much did it cost to pay onto it?

cheers mate

What is 18-30s, just a random group you join up and head off with? As u've guessed no I wasnt on that, just went with mates from school.

Waterpark is a must and the beach, you can find quiet parts with cliffs to do some mad diving, easy enough do the nasty as well if thats what you're looking. When I say 300quid I mean thats what I spent on food/booze while on hols, flights accomodation took it way up, cant remember but was expensive. Crime seemed non existant but not many screw with the irish, especially when there was like 12 of us and then we met another massive group to hang about with

£300 is 6 days is still pretty suprising, especially in a place that is supposed to be expensive.

I spent about £700 in 6 nights in pooey Tenerife, which is no where near as costly.

The 900 quid wasnt including my flights n tht. We were 400 each to go, and spent 900 on food and booze when i wad there... might have went over the score a bit but hey, first lads holiday ;) .

It seemingly is expensive, but im goin to make sure i take extra cash, just incase. That way i've got it if need be.

Week to go, na canny wait.

Anyone else got hols planned for this year???

Be aware of the charges you may have using a debit card. Have a read of this http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel ... y#topcards

Can't be of any help for your holiday as I'm off to the USofA.
